Welcome to RQA's Crisis Plan Toolkit
This has been developed by RQA Europe, experts in product recall and crisis management. The toolkit will help you to create and finalise either a comprehensive crisis management plan or a single incident plan (e.g. a product recall plan or pandemic flu plan etc).
You will be guided through the development of your plan step by step. Once complete your plan will be compliant with the sections in both the BRC and IFS on the management of incidents, product withdrawal, product recall. Note, BRC requires business continuity elements that can be included in the product recall single incident plan or would form part of the comprehensive crisis management plan.
RQA provides incident support assistance to a food or consumer product manufacturer on average every 4 days. This experience has enabled this toolkit to be developed to enable you to develop a customised and effective product recall plan.
